Joseph Williamson possesses more than 30 years of experience in the field of international healthcare consulting, education, and training. His primary area of focus is with Hospital Groups in Africa and the Caribbean, where he evaluates clinical gaps in protocols. He is a registered ultrasound technologist in the USA and is a registered Clinical Officer (equivalent to a PA) in Johannesburg South Africa, specializing in the interpretation of high risk maternal-fetal ultrasound and the treatment of maternal-fetal syndromes in Africa. Currently, he serves as a clinical consultant lead for the International Finance Corporation’s Africa Healthcare projects and the clinical lead for Inteleos Medical Certification global project Africa. He is leading a massive program in Africa to upscale nurses, clinical officers and physicians in all aspects of POCUS with special focus on cardiology, obstetrics and HIV. Jospeh received his clinical training at TUFTS in Boston and University of Johannesburg South Africa.
